Privacy Policy — Revolution Network

Revolution Network collects limited data necessary to operate a decentralized compute network.

We may collect technical information such as IP address, device type, uptime metrics, and application performance logs.

Users may optionally connect a wallet to receive rewards in Revolution Network Token (RNT). Wallet addresses are stored only for reward distribution.

No private keys are ever requested or stored.

Data Usage

We do not sell personal data. Collected information is used exclusively for:

• network performance and security
• fraud prevention and abuse detection
• reward calculation and airdrop distribution
• service analytics and improvement

Cookies may be used for authentication, session management, and analytics.

Users may request data deletion by contacting support.

By using Revolution Network, users consent to this data processing necessary for decentralized infrastructure operation.

Distributed Monitoring & Proof of Work

When you run the Revolution Network app (desktop or mobile) with an active session, your device periodically performs two types of tasks: verifying the availability of a small set of web endpoints assigned by our backend, and computing lightweight proof-of-work challenges. Neither task shares, proxies, or routes your internet connection on behalf of any third party — your device only makes standard outbound requests to endpoints we specify.

You earn points for each verified task, later convertible to RNT tokens. You may stop this activity at any time by ending your session in the app.

Browser Extension (Chrome)

The Revolution Network browser extension performs distributed uptime monitoring. It does not read, record or transmit your browsing history or the content of the pages you visit.

Data processed by the extension:

• Account information: you sign in with your Revolution Network account (email or Google). Your account email and username are used to identify your account and credit your points.
• Session token: stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage) so your session persists. It is sent only to api.revolution-network.fr to authenticate requests, and is removed when you sign out.
• Points and last-check time: stored locally in your browser.
• Check results: about once a minute, the extension sends to api.revolution-network.fr the target ID, the HTTP status, the response time and an up/down result, so that points can be credited to your account.

Monitored websites: to perform a check, the extension sends a single anonymous HTTPS request, without cookies or credentials, to a public website supplied by our API. As with any web request, that website can see your IP address. The extension never contacts local or private addresses.

The extension does not use a proxy, does not change your browser settings, does not inject scripts into the pages you visit, does not mine cryptocurrency, and does not perform proof-of-work computations. We do not sell or share extension data with third parties.

You can stop monitoring at any time with the pause button or by signing out. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting support.
